Latvia has completed at least €189.4 million of investment in birch veneer and plywood production between 2024 and 2026, while further mills are being developed in Kuldīga and Ogre. What began with new peeling technology and major equipment orders in 2024 has grown into a country-wide expansion covering veneer, large-format plywood, lamination and further processing.
