Russian wood-based panels consumption raised to historic records of 12.9 million m3 (12% year-on-year increase) during 2018. The consumption growth was influenced by an increase in the share of particleboard and OSB.  According to What Wood reports, the rise in the consumption of wood-based panels in the domestic market can be partially explained by the positive trends in the furniture industry.
