The Egger Group invested in the 25 million euros in its Lower Austrian production facility in Unterradlberg. This involves investments in the modernization of the entire chipboard production.  Production in the Egger Group's third plant was shut down for five weeks in October in order to efficiently carry out the planned conversion and maintenance work on the primary chipboard production plants.  During this time, the raw board press and the gluing along with the associated controls were renewed.
