The German Ziegler Group has recently entered the Swedish market with the purchase of two sawmills in Sweden. The Balungstrands and Bäckebrons sawmills are at the heart of the Scandinavian Profura AB group. The sawmills currently have an annual processing capacity of around 700,000 solid cubic meters of logs on a total of more than 35 hectares of operating space. The purchase agreement for the sawmill division Greenwood Sverige AB from Profura Group (which includes the two sawmills) was signed on the 11th of May, in Betzenmühle, Germany, at the headquarters of the ...
