UK timber distributor and processor Premier Forest Products expects annualised turnover to reach \u00a3200 million over the next year after completing a series of acquisitions that have nearly doubled the size of the business.<\/p>\n
The company said revenue is expected to reach \u00a3125 million for the financial year ending April 2026, with further growth anticipated as recently acquired businesses are fully integrated.<\/p>\n
The expansion has been driven by the acquisition of timber engineering specialist National Timber Systems and several former Arnold Laver sites acquired from National Timber Group England. The deals have expanded Premier Forest's distribution, manufacturing and logistics network across the UK.<\/p>\n
Headcount has increased from around 400 to almost 800 employees following the acquisitions, while the company has expanded its management team to support the larger organisation. As part of the restructuring, Neil Davies has been promoted from Chief Financial Officer to Chief Financial and Operating Officer.<\/p>\n
Despite continued weakness in UK construction and higher operating costs, Premier Forest said it has continued investing in infrastructure, systems and workforce development while expanding its banking facilities with HSBC to support future acquisitions.<\/p>\n

The company said environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives are becoming increasingly important in customer procurement decisions. Alongside commercial expansion, Premier Forest has continued programmes supporting corporate parenting, prisoner rehabilitation, military veterans and employment initiatives, which it said are now playing a greater role in framework agreements and tender processes.<\/p>\n
