German wood-based panel machinery supplier Dieffenbacher is reorganising its international sales network, ending long-standing partnerships in Turkey and Latin America as it shifts to a direct market approach in both regions.<\/p>\n
The company said its cooperation with Turkish representative Hanex will end on 30 June, concluding a partnership that began in 1999.<\/p>\n
Over nearly three decades, Hanex represented Dieffenbacher in Turkey's wood-based panels industry, a market that has become one of Europe's largest producers of MDF and particleboard.<\/p>\n
Dieffenbacher began building its own presence in Turkey in 2020 by opening a liaison office before establishing the wholly owned subsidiary Dieffenbacher Makine Ticaret ve Servis in 2024.<\/p>\n
From 1 July, I\u015f\u0131k Zorcu will lead the Turkish subsidiary. Zorcu joined Dieffenbacher in 2020 after holding positions at Kastamonu Entegre and AGT. He will oversee sales, service, spare parts and modernisation projects across the company's wood, forming, recycling and energy business units.<\/p>\n
\"The fact that we can look back today on almost three decades of a trusting partnership is anything but a given,\" Area Sales Director Tilman Helmer said, thanking Hanex for its role in establishing Dieffenbacher's business in Turkey.<\/p>\n
Hanex General Manager Cihan Ayla Jr. said the company was proud of the relationship built since 1999 and expressed confidence that both companies would continue to develop independently.<\/p>\n
Another change in Dieffenbacher's international sales structure<\/strong><\/p>\n The company has also ended its 20-year sales partnership with Inserco Industrie Service GmbH in Latin America. The cooperation, which began with a distribution agreement in 2006, resulted in projects across Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Ecuador and Chile.<\/p>\n Existing customer projects will continue until completion, while the two companies said they could continue cooperating on selected projects in the future.<\/p>\n The move follows the reorganisation of Dieffenbacher's Latin American operations in 2024, when the company relocated its Brazilian subsidiary to Itaja\u00ed and expanded its regional team under Managing Director Diego Coelho de Oliveira.<\/p>\n The partnership ended against the backdrop of continued pressure on German woodworking machinery production. A separate\u00a0forecast\u00a0by the VDMA Woodworking Machinery Trade Association of Germany projected German woodworking machinery production to decline by about 7% in 2026, after single-digit declines in 2025 and 2024.
