Kl\u00f6pferholz has decided to end negotiations with Austria's JAF Group regarding a potential acquisition of its Timber Wholesale and Construction divisions. The two business units will continue to operate unchanged within the Kl\u00f6pfer Group.<\/p>\n

The decision came as only days earlier, reports indicated that the negotiations had entered their final stages. JAF planned to establish a new company for the two business units, while employees were expected to receive takeover offers.<\/p>\n
The JAF Group had expressed interest in the Wholesale and Construction divisions several months ago. Both companies subsequently held intensive discussions to evaluate a possible transaction.<\/p>\n
Kl\u00f6pferholz chooses independent path<\/strong><\/p>\n Following an assessment of the strategic and economic framework, Kl\u00f6pferholz decided not to proceed with the negotiations.<\/p>\n The company stated that the decision was made from a position of business stability and reflects its intention to shape the future development of the Kl\u00f6pfer Group independently.<\/p>\n \"We thank the JAF Group for the professional discussions and the consistently constructive exchange,\" said Managing Director Manfred Meyer.<\/p>\n \"The past months have shown that our Timber Wholesale and Construction divisions have a strong market position, dedicated teams and a reliable customer base.
