Better-quality oak, ash and walnut material continued holding firm, while industrial grades and lower-quality dimensions moved more slowly across several Central European markets.<\/p>\n
Oak remained the most stable segment. German kiln-dried oak lumber A\/B 27 mm was offered around EUR 820\u2013920\/m3 EXW depending on width selection and color consistency, while selected Prime grades moved above EUR 1,000\/m3 EXW.<\/p>\n
Croatian and Bosnian suppliers continued offering KD oak lumber around EUR 720\u2013850\/m3 EXW for export-oriented truckload business. Romanian oak saw logs QPA\/QPB 40+ cm circulated around EUR 390\u2013410\/m3 roadside, while veneer-quality oak logs from Slovakia and Hungary remained near EUR 900\u20131,050\/m3 FCA.<\/p>\n
Beech markets stayed comparatively quiet but stable. German steamed beech KD lumber A\/B 50 mm was offered around EUR 540\u2013580\/m3 EXW, while Romanian beech logs 35+ cm moved around EUR 150\u2013170\/m3 roadside.<\/p>\n
Ash availability remained tighter for better-quality material. Serbian KD ash Prime\/FAS offers were heard around EUR 760\u2013820\/m3 FCA, supported by limited higher-grade log supply and steady flooring demand. Polish ash veneer logs above 45 cm circulated around EUR 300\u2013340\/m3 FCA.<\/p>\n
Walnut prices remained elevated for export-quality lumber. Croatian KD walnut with selected color and wider widths was offered between EUR 2,300\u20132,600\/m3 EXW depending on grade and moisture specification.<\/p>\n
Birch markets in the Baltics remained relatively stable. Latvian KD birch furniture grades were heard around EUR 580\u2013680\/m3 FCA, with plywood and interior applications continuing to support demand.<\/p>\n
Imported tropical hardwood prices into Europe stayed firm because of freight costs and certification requirements. Sapelli KD FAS offers were heard around EUR 1,150\u20131,220\/m3 CIF Antwerp, while tali fresh-sawn material circulated around EUR 920\u2013980\/m3 CIF.<\/p>\n
