Operating profit fell from 13.2 million to 1.5 million euros, and the operating profit percentage was 0.9.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, the company's order development was strong. Ponsse received new orders worth EUR 193 million in January\u2013March, which is almost EUR 10 million more than a year earlier. The order backlog at the end of the review period was EUR 168 million.<\/p>\n<p>\"The forestry machinery market showed signs of recovery in the early part of the year. Despite this, the first quarter was operationally challenging,\" says CEO Juho Nummela in a press release.<\/p>\n<p>According to Ponsse, demand developed strongly, especially in Sweden, Central Europe and Latin America. The Finnish market, on the other hand, was difficult, and uncertainty also slowed down investment decisions in North America.<\/p>\n<p>Ponsse is keeping its profit guidance for 2026 unchanged.
