Both the wood processing industry (excluding furniture) and timber wholesalers reported a more cautious outlook.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"687\" data-end=\"815\">At the same time, a larger share of companies indicated plans to increase their prices, despite the softer business climate.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"817\" data-end=\"1046\">According to the Ifo data, expectations for the coming months have deteriorated, with fewer companies anticipating an improvement in business conditions. The current situation was assessed as broadly unchanged to slightly weaker.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1048\" data-end=\"1260\">In the wood industry, companies pointed to continued cost pressure as a key factor behind planned price increases. In timber trade, similar trends were reported, with firms also expecting to pass on higher costs.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1262\" data-end=\"1437\">The survey highlights a divergence between business expectations and pricing plans.
