Financial terms were not disclosed and completion remains subject to regulatory approvals.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"485\" data-end=\"731\">Gresham House manages roughly $5bn in forestry assets, while Molpus Woodlands Group oversees around $3bn. The combined business will operate across the UK, Ireland, the US, Australia and New Zealand, managing more than 2.2mn acres of forest land.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"733\" data-end=\"1067\">Molpus, based in Mississippi, will retain its brand and continue to run day-to-day operations. Its leadership team, including <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Terrell Winstead<\/span><\/span>, <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Michael Cooper<\/span><\/span> and <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">George Dahduh<\/span><\/span>, will remain in place and join the enlarged group\u2019s management and investment committees.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1069\" data-end=\"1310\">The deal brings together two long-established forestry investors, with roots dating back to the 19th and early 20th centuries. Both groups have focused on timberland investment, forest management and long-term returns from biological growth.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1312\" data-end=\"1511\">The combined platform will cover a wider range of forestry-related strategies, including timberland, afforestation, reforestation and carbon-related investments, alongside land management activities.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1513\" data-end=\"1692\">Since 2020, the two firms have together raised about $2.5bn in timberland mandates, including more than $1bn in 2025, reflecting continued institutional interest in forest assets.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1694\" data-end=\"1919\">Forestry assets within the platform are managed through a combination of on-the-ground silviculture and investment processes, supported by tools such as geographic information systems to track and optimise forest performance.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1921\" data-end=\"2317\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Advisers on the transaction include <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Eversheds Sutherland<\/span><\/span> for Gresham House, with <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Moelis &amp; Company<\/span><\/span> acting as financial adviser to Molpus Woodlands Group.
