The statistics cover approximately 85% of wood purchases from Finnish private forests and are weighted by volumes. Nevertheless, the company\u2019s wood demand in Finland is set to rise this year due to the ramp-up of the consumer packaging board line in Oulu, which started operations a year ago. All mills are operating as planned and require continuous log supply throughout the year.<\/p>\n<p>Although market prices have retreated from autumn highs, they remain historically strong. The company states it purchases all assortments, with particular interest in spruce logs for its sawmills and stands suitable for summer harvesting.
