Spruce logs averaged \u20ac82 per cubic meter, while pine logs fetched \u20ac80, both down by nearly three percent compared to July. Birch log prices fell by a similar margin, dropping below \u20ac65.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"473\" data-end=\"951\">The decline was more pronounced in pulpwood. Spruce pulpwood fell well below \u20ac34 per cubic meter, and pine and birch pulpwood dropped below \u20ac32. Since their June peaks, standing sale prices have fallen by roughly \u20ac4 for pine and spruce logs, nearly \u20ac5 for birch logs, and about \u20ac3 for pulpwood. Despite these decreases, the real price of birch logs remained at the average level for last year, and other main assortments were still 2\u20134 percent higher than last year\u2019s average.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"953\" data-end=\"1108\">Delivery sales prices also saw a small decline. Pulpwood procurement deals fell about one percent from July, ranging between \u20ac53 and \u20ac55 per cubic meter.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1110\" data-end=\"1150\"><strong data-start=\"1110\" This marked the fourth consecutive month of lower purchase volumes.
