The national average reached \u20ac310.82 per tonne, up 2.7% from July, with one kilowatt-hour of heat costing 6.22 cents. Pellets maintain a price advantage of around 29% over heating oil.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"492\" data-end=\"682\">DEPI advises buyers to secure supplies before the end of the summer holidays, noting that increased demand from consumers and traders restocking for winter is likely to push prices higher.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"684\" data-end=\"908\">Online markets have mirrored the trend, with loose pellets priced at \u20ac294\/t on heizpellets24.de and \u20ac297\/t on holzpellets.net as of 20 August.
