<\/span>At its sawmill in \u017ddirec, Czech Republic, Stora Enso is investing around \u20ac11.6 million (CZK 284 million) in a new saw line.<\/p>\n

The project covers the installation of a new line, the reconfiguration of the production hall, and the modernisation of the existing saw line. According to the company, the investment is aimed at further improving yield and production efficiency at the site.<\/p>\n

\u017ddirec is one of Stora Enso\u2019s largest sawmill operations in Central Europe. With this step, the group continues to strengthen its wood products segment and optimise the utilisation of raw material in line with its long-term strategy.<\/p>\n
