<\/span>In 2024, Stiga RM and its five associated companies recorded a consolidated turnover of approximately \u20ac97 million. The group\u2019s EBITDA exceeded \u20ac20 million, reflecting steady profitability despite fluctuating market conditions. The companies employ over 600 people across Kurzeme and Zemgale regions and contributed around \u20ac9 million in taxes to the national budget.<\/p>\n

A substantial investment program was carried out in 2024, with total capital expenditures reaching \u20ac37 million. Key projects included modernization and expansion of the Kuld\u012bga birch plywood factory, which incorporated new production spaces and energy-efficient technologies. These efforts aim to increase production capacity and expand the product range.<\/p>\n

Progress was also made on a new acoustic panel factory in Tukums, with construction largely completed and an opening planned by the end of 2025. This facility is expected to broaden the group\u2019s product offering.<\/p>\n

The group also acquired the Norupe sawmill and initiated development of a new wood processing plant in Ogre, marking the first expansion outside the Kurzeme region. The new plant is planned as a modern birch plywood facility and is part of a multi-year investment program.<\/p>\n

In terms of raw material supply, Stiga RM expanded its forest holdings by about 1,000 hectares in 2024, increasing the total managed area to over 12,500 hectares.
