<\/span>Bjelin has obtained access to the Spa\u010dva Forest in Croatia, the largest continuous oak forest in Europe. The forest, which is FSC\u00ae-certified, accounts for around 20% of Croatia\u2019s total oak forest area and is part of the country\u2019s broader forest coverage of approximately 36%.<\/p>\n

The Slavonian oak harvested from this region is used as raw material for parquet flooring. The timber is processed in local sawmills before being finished in parquet factories. The available oak planks range in width up to 20 cm, with options from nearly knot-free to rustic grades.<\/p>\n

Among the products manufactured are Woodura Planks 3.0, which utilize a wood-hardening process intended to improve strength and durability. These planks come in widths up to 27 cm and lengths over 2.3 meters. Hardened wooden floors offer higher impact resistance compared to traditional parquet and are suitable for most residential and moderate commercial uses, excluding bathrooms.<\/p>\n

Production is carried out in facilities located in Sweden and Croatia, combining locally sourced raw materials with production technologies developed in cooperation with V\u00e4linge Innovation AB, known for its work in floor installation systems.<\/p>\n
