After more than six years as CEO and Group President of Vida, M\u00e5ns Johansson is stepping down from the position and taking on a new role within the group.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

\u201cIt has been a privilege to serve as Group President of Vida\u2014a company to which I\u2019ve dedicated my entire professional life, and one I grew up with since my grandfather founded it. I am incredibly proud of our culture, our employees, and the results we have achieved together,\u201d said M\u00e5ns Johansson in a press release.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

He will remain with Vida as Vice Chairman of the Board. He will also continue to work operationally with strategic matters and retain his role as President of Canfor Europe. (Since 2019, Canadian company Canfor has owned 70 percent of Vida\u2019s shares.)<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cI\u2019m excited about the future and look forward to continuing to work with Vida and on forest and sawmill issues\u2014though now from a different perspective,\u201d Johansson said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The new CEO and Group President will be Karl-Johan L\u00f6wenadler<\/strong>, who has worked within the group since 1998, most recently as Sales Director for Vida Wood.<\/p>\n

\u201cI take on this responsibility as Group President with great humility. M\u00e5ns, and Santhe Dahl before him, have laid a solid foundation for the entire Vida group, which I will now continue to develop and manage,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
