<\/span>After dialogue with the Sami National Federation and FSC, SCA has decided to postpone its much-discussed break from certification.<\/p>\n

\"The decision reflects a mutual willingness to seek solutions to the challenges that SCA has identified within the framework of FSC certification. SCA views the ongoing discussions positively with the hope that they will contribute to a long-term sustainable path forward, in line with FSC's principles and the company's high ambitions within responsible forestry,\" the company says.<\/p>\n

SCA's break from FSC Forest Management certification in Sweden would have taken effect from June 1, 2025.<\/p>\n

The company's announcement is that it remains an active member of FSC, FSC Controlled Wood and FSC Chain-of-Custody while postponing the implementation of a pause in SCA's FSC-FM certification.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
