The\u00a0Swiss Krono Group\u00a0has entered into an agreement to acquire Collins Pine Company\u2019s particleboard and engineered wood siding manufacturing facilities located in Klamath Falls, Oregon.<\/span><\/p>\n

This acquisition marks a strategic expansion for Swiss Krono in North America, complementing its existing operations in Barnwell, South Carolina, and building its presence in the Western United States.<\/p>\n

The decision by Collins to divest the Klamath Falls facilities supports the company\u2019s strategic focus on its core business of timberlands management and softwood and hardwood lumber manufacturing.<\/p>\n

The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions. Financial terms of the deal will not be disclosed. Other Collins business units are not affected by this transaction.<\/p>\n

Swiss Krono Group is one of the world\u2019s leading manufacturers of wood-based materials.<\/p>\n

Collins Pine Company, founded in 1855, is family-owned with over 370,000 acres of FSC certified land in California, Oregon, and Pennsylvania.
