At the end of last year, it became known that Sveaskog intended to sell its shareholding in Setra Group AB to Mellanskog. The deal has now been completed.<\/p>\n

Sveaskog's decision to sell is in line with a parliamentary decision from 2009. The state-owned company's long-term strategy is to be a responsible forest owner and independent player in the market, without its own interests in the forest industry. The transfer took place on April 30, 2025.<\/p>\n
Mellanskog is now the sole principal owner of Setra Group. Erik Brandsma and Per Callenberg are stepping down from the Setra Group board with the transfer.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
