<\/span>Carl G\u00f6tz GmbH, a key player in the German timber wholesale market, has announced the acquisition of Holz Greiter, a timber business based in Kempten, Allg\u00e4u. The acquisition, effective June 1, 2025, marks an important step in strengthening Carl G\u00f6tz\u2019s presence in southern Germany and expanding its product offerings to a broader customer base in the region and beyond.<\/p>\n

Holz Greiter, known for its supply of wood products such as plywood, three-layer panels, and laminated wood, has long served the local carpentry and timber construction industries. Under the new ownership, Holz Greiter will continue to operate under its established brand, maintaining its local presence and customer relationships.<\/p>\n

Philipp Zumsteg, Managing Director of Carl G\u00f6tz GmbH, commented, \u201cIntegrating Holz Greiter into our operations will allow us to better serve customers in the Allg\u00e4u region with an expanded range of products and increased supply capabilities.
