<\/span>Weak market conditions remain the biggest concern, according to a survey by the Finnish Wood Product Industry Association (Puutuoteteollisuus).<\/p>\n

Companies in the Finnish wood product sector anticipate revenue growth this year. According to the survey, about half of the respondents expect an increase in revenue, while only five percent foresee a decline.<\/p>\n

Approximately 60 percent of respondents believe that the utilization rate of their production facilities will improve this year. The Wood Product Industry Association notes that growth is starting from a low level, but the key takeaway is that the trend has shifted.<\/p>\n

The biggest challenge remains the weak market and demand situation. More than 40 percent of respondents identified strengthening demand as the primary measure needed. The public sector should ensure that investments are not unnecessarily postponed and that measures supporting demand are not reduced from current levels, the association states.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
