<\/span>HS Timber Group is upgrading drying operations at its Luvian Saha sawmill in Luvia, Finland, with the installation of an FB tunnel dryer from Swedish manufacturer Valutec.<\/p>\n

The project, set to begin in early summer 2025, includes modernization of three existing continuous kilns and implementation of Valutec\u2019s control system, Valmatics 4.0. Commissioning is scheduled for autumn 2025.<\/p>\n

The new generation of continuous kilns is designed to enhance drying capacity while maintaining efficiency and quality comparable to batch kilns. Luvian Saha, which produces spruce and pine products with various surface treatments, has been operating since 1976. HS Timber Group acquired full ownership of the sawmill in 2022.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
