<\/span>To meet the continued good demand, Sveaskog is raising timber prices in Southern Norrland and Svealand.<\/p>\n

Sveaskog does not communicate how large the price increase is, but refers to current timber prices on Sveaskog's website to get the correct price in each region.<\/p>\n

When we compare the timber price list for sawlogs in Svealand and Southern Norrland (no. 7994-S3) that was valid from September 1, 2024, with the latest one, which is valid from February 3, 2025, we see that there are price increases between 50 and 100 SEK (4.35\u20138.70 EUR).<\/p>\n

To take some examples, pine sawlogs in class 1 with a 30 centimeter top cost 1,135 SEK\/m\u00b3fub (99 EUR\/m\u00b3fub) according to the previous list. The new price is 1,235 SEK\/m\u00b3fub (107 EUR\/m\u00b3fub).<\/p>\n

Spruce sawlogs in class 1 with a top diameter of 26 centimeters have been increased by 100 SEK (8.70 EUR) to 1,100 SEK\/m\u00b3fub (96 EUR\/m\u00b3fub).<\/p>\n

''We see a strong market and are now raising timber prices to meet demand from our customers and give forest owners a better return on their forest assets. We want to continue to be a long-term and reliable partner for private forest owners throughout the country,'' says Jens Stenberg, purchasing manager at Sveaskog, in a press release.<\/p>\n
