<\/span>Global Timber, a Danish hardwood timber wholesaler, is strengthening its presence in Scandinavia by establishing offices and warehouses in V\u00e4rnamo, Sweden, starting June 1. The company, which stocks more than 40 different types of wood, currently operates warehouses in Denmark and Germany and is now expanding into the Swedish market.<\/p>\n

Previously, Global Timber has served the Swedish market through selected retailers. With this strategic shift, the company aims to offer its products directly to the entire Swedish timber industry.<\/p>\n

As part of this expansion, Global Timber has acquired a facility in Vaggeryd, which includes kilns, warehouses, and production facilities for handling and processing wood from freshly sawn to joinery-dry conditions., marking a significant milestone in its Scandinavian growth strategy. This acquisition enhances both procurement and distribution capabilities for solid wood. To manage operations in Sweden, a new subsidiary, Global Timber Sverige AB, has been established. This entity will work closely with Global Timber in Denmark, with a team of experienced industry professionals ensuring a seamless integration and continued market development.<\/p>\n
