<\/span>The Bavarian State Forests (BaySF) are resuming supplies to the Ziegler Group's sawmill in Pl\u00f6\u00dfberg (Tirschenreuth district), which is currently under provisional insolvency administration, with immediate effect. BaySF announced this in a press release.<\/p>\n

\"We are prepared to deliver the entire agreed quantity for the year 2025 to the Ziegler Group sawmill if appropriate security is provided. The continued existence of this excellently located sawmill site in Upper Palatinate is of strategic importance for BaySF and thousands of forest owners in Bavaria,\" said BaySF CEO Martin Neumeyer.<\/p>\n

Bavaria's Minister of Economic Affairs and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the State Forests, Hubert Aiwanger, also welcomed the resumption of business relations. He sees this as a strong signal for the future of this important sawmill site, for the employees and their families, and for the entire region. A first step towards preserving the site has been taken, he explained.<\/p>\n
