C quality logs showed a more significant drop, falling by 6.3% to 78.6 points. The index for 3 m lengths in this category dropped to 87.5 points (-6.5%), while 4\/5 m lengths reached 88.1 points (-2.3%). In contrast, B\/C quality spruce logs increased to 106.9 points (+1.1% from July).<\/p>\n
For pulpwood, the spruce index rose by 2.4% to 100.1 points. Pine pulpwood recorded a modest increase to 101.8 points (+0.2%), while Douglas fir pulpwood reached 75.4 points (+4.9%). Overall, the softwood pulpwood index reached 98.9 points (+1.5%).<\/p>\n
