<\/span>During the first half of 2024, the value of European Union exports of Oriented Strand Board (OSB) to the United States rose notably, reaching EUR 89.8 million. This marks a substantial increase compared to the EUR 24.7 million recorded during the same period in 2023.<\/p>\n

Latvia remained a key exporter within the EU, with its OSB exports to the US growing to EUR 50.8 million in 2024, up from EUR 22.4 million in 2023. Romania also saw a significant rise in export value, from a modest EUR 1,829 in 2023 to EUR 22.8 million in 2024, making it one of the major contributors to the overall increase.<\/p>\n

Poland emerged as another significant exporter, with its OSB exports jumping to EUR 7.9 million in 2024, compared to just EUR 5,923 in 2023. Ireland\u2019s exports also grew, reaching EUR 4.8 million, up from EUR 1.6 million the previous year.<\/p>\n

Belgium\u2019s contribution increased as well, with export values rising to EUR 2.96 million in 2024 from EUR 193,686 in 2023. Other EU countries saw a slight increase in their export values, contributing EUR 481,906 in 2024 compared to EUR 474,435 in 2023.<\/p>\n
