<\/span>Finnish wood processing group Koskinen's result weakened in April-June. The result halved from a year ago to 4.9 million euros, but the turnover rose to 77.8 million euros.The reason behind the rise in turnover is deliveries of deliveries that were postponed due to strikes. Profitability weakened in both the sawmill and panel industries. In the sawmill division, the result was eaten up by the high price of wood and the slower than expected ramp-up of the new sawmill. Profitability in the record industry was weakened by reduced volumes. However, the market situation for plywood was strong and the price level remained unchanged in the second quarter.
