In July, roundwood prices in Germany rose slightly again.<\/span><\/p>\n

The price for the core range sections BC 2b+ for spruce sawn logs is 90 to 102 \u20ac\/m3, in the east and south of the country even less.<\/p>\n

Slight price increase<\/p>\n

Long timber is about \u20ac5\/m3 more than cut timber. Beetle-infested timber costs \u20ac70 to \u20ac85\/m3 with variations further up and down. Export timber of BCD quality is essentially between \u20ac80 and \u20ac90\/m3.<\/p>\n

In pine, the key range of sections BC 2b+ is generally sold for 70 to 80 \u20ac\/m\u00b3, in the east of the country only around 70 \u20ac\/m\u00b3. Long timber is 5 to 10 \u20ac\/m\u00b3 higher.<\/p>\n

Larch and Douglas fir in high demand<\/strong><\/p>\n

Larch and Douglas fir generally fetch prices well over \u20ac100\/m\u00b3, with prices only falling below this mark in eastern Lower Saxony. Softwood pallet wood is in high demand, mainly for around \u20ac35\/m\u00b3, and over \u20ac40\/m\u00b3 in western Lower Saxony.<\/p>\n

The prices for chipboard wood are around 25 \u20ac\/m\u00b2, those for OSB qualities around 30 \u20ac\/m\u00b2. Hardwood firewood is usually purchased for 40 to 50 \u20ac\/m\u00b2, softwood firewood for 30 to 35 \u20ac\/m\u00b2.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
