Companies in Finland's wood products industry believe that the decline in turnover will stop in the middle of this year. Turnover is expected to turn to growth for the year 2025,<\/span> according to survey conducted by Federation of the Finnish Woodworking Industries.<\/p>\n

In the survey carried out in July, the cyclical situation of the wood products industry and the companies' view of the short-term outlook were investigated. About two-thirds of the companies that responded to the survey are small companies with a turnover of less than ten million euros.<\/p>\n

This year, the offer and order backlog is predicted to remain at the level of 2023.<\/p>\n

However, the situation for companies is still challenging and it is not believed that the situation will ease quickly. About a third of the companies estimate that acquisition costs will increase and availability will decrease.<\/p>\n

More than 60 percent of the companies estimate that their number of employees will remain at last year's level. About a quarter estimate that the number of personnel will decrease.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
