<\/span>Miro Forestry and Timber Products has announced that it has procured equipment to double its plywood factory capacity in Ghana from 30,000 to 60,000m\u00b3 per annum.<\/p>\n

The company produces plywood, edge glue boards and utility transmission poles from its own FSC-certified commercial forests. The plywood produced is destined for the growing West African market and for export.<\/p>\n

On the environmental front, Miro has c.200,000 tonnes of carbon credits available per annum from its existing plantations and has a large pipeline of indigenous afforestation projects generating approximately credits over a 30-year period.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
