Isojoen Saha Oy is building a new main saw line. <\/span>The company does not disclose the value of the investment, but according to the release, it is one of the largest in the company's history.<\/p>\n

With the new main saw line, the wood raw material can be used even better and more precisely. The sawmill uses approximately 300,000 cubic meters of pine and spruce logs per year.<\/p>\n

\"Our product range is also diversifying,\" says CEO Esa Hakam\u00e4ki .<\/p>\n

Construction work on Sahalinja's new facilities started in May, and they will be completed in early 2025. The sawing line itself will be put into operation in stages during 2025.<\/p>\n

The new main saw line will replace the current one. Production will continue on current lines throughout construction.<\/p>\n
