''With the orders we have now received, we expect that the bottom has been reached, now we are aiming forward, says Henrik Asp, CEO of Moelven Byggmodul AB.<\/p>\n<p>The employees within Moelven Byggmodul AB received information during Tuesday morning that the ongoing notice had been withdrawn.<\/p>\n<p>''The last year has been tough, but we are now seeing increased activity in the market, which means that we are planning for an increased production rate,'' says Asp. There is still uncertainty in the market, but we choose to take this step and withdraw the pending notice, Moelven says.<\/p>\n<p>The withdrawn notice applies to the almost 50 people who are still in service. These are primarily production employees in S\u00e4ffle, but also white-collar workers in Sm\u00e5land and V\u00e4rmland. After this notification, there are no notices left in Moelven Byggmodul AB.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Secures capacity<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A contributing factor to the fact that it is now possible to retain all employees is that Moelven Byggmodul AB has recently signed several major contracts. Among other things, a hotel project in Halland and a housing project in Stockholm. That, together with several smaller contracts and an increased demand for rental modules means that you now have different conditions than the last year.<\/p>\n<p>''In order to cope with demand, we need to plan for an increased production rate and secure capacity in planning, says Asp,<\/p>\n<p>Although several contracts are signed, some of these are conditional on building permits and financing, adds Asp.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Challenges remain<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Despite the encouraging news, some challenges still remain in the market.<\/p>\n<p>''We must remember that construction in general is still at a low level in Sweden at the moment. We continue to see low demand for, above all, sheds manufactured in Kil, but there the Danish market has been all the stronger. At the same time, we see somewhat increased demand in Sweden, but from very low levels. The tough times are not over, but we think the bottom is behind us now,'' Asp says.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About Moelven Byggmodul AB<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Moelven Byggmodul is a Scandinavian leading producer of industrially manufactured wooden building modules. The company currently has around 500 employees and a turnover of around SEK 1.7-1.8 billion (EUR 146.2-154.8 million). The customers are mainly private and public developers as well as many rental companies.
