There is currently an upward trend in roundwood prices in Germany's Lower Saxony region. <\/span>Accordingly, demand for and prices for spruce and pine logs as well as the corresponding sections continue to rise. In April, the price for the flagship range of spruce sections BC 2b+ is usually between 90 and 100 \u20ac\/m3, in the eastern Lower Saxony it is also under 90 \u20ac\/m3, and in the west it is sometimes even over 100 \u20ac\/m3.<\/p>\n

Prices continue to rise<\/strong><\/p>\n

The corresponding leading range for pine is usually between 65 and 75 \u20ac\/m3, and in the West it is sometimes significantly higher. Larch and Douglas fir logs cost around \u20ac130 per cubic meter.<\/p>\n

Soft pallet wood is also in good demand and usually costs 32 to 35 \u20ac\/m3, in the west just over 40 \u20ac\/m3. Demand for industrial wood is also normal to good.<\/p>\n

Demand for hardwood is subdued<\/strong><\/p>\n

Demand for hardwood logs is restrained and prices are stable. Exporters continue to demand wood.<\/p>\n

Hardwood firewood costs around 45 to 50 \u20ac\/m3, coniferous firewood around 30 \u20ac\/m3.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
