On Tuesday, April 16, a Poland timber industry protest will be held in Bia\u0142ystok related to the situation of forestry and timber companies <\/span>after the introduction of the logging \"moratorium\" of the Ministry of Climate and Environment on January 8, 2024.<\/p>\n

According to the organizers, the protest will be large but peaceful.The moratorium of the Ministry of Climate and Environment of January 8, 2024 excluded timber harvesting in selected areas of Poland.<\/p>\n

''Our companies are heading towards bankruptcy, and the ministry is not entering into a real dialogue with us,''<\/em>\u00a0say the organizers.'<\/p>\n

About 500 people representing the wood and forestry industry will participate in the protest. Possibly even more.<\/p>\n
