At Mets\u00e4 Group's \u00c4\u00e4nekoski bioproduct factory, the annual maintenance shutdown begins at the end of the week. The factory will be shut down on Friday morning (April 5) by department, it will be restarted at the end of the month.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the maintenance shutdown, necessary maintenance, cleaning and maintenance work is carried out at the factory. The most important works are the inspection and maintenance of the soda boiler and the kettle.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the moment, Mets\u00e4 Group's production facilities are otherwise quiet. Due to the strikes, the production of the company's sawmills in Rauma, Vilppula, Rengo and Lappeenranta has been at a standstill, as well as the cardboard factories in Simpelee, Kyro, Tako in Tampere and \u00c4\u00e4nekoski. The Kemi cardboard factory, the pulp and chemical pulp mills in Joutseno and the chemical pulp mill in Kaskis are also standing.<\/span><\/p>\n
