The new MDF system is the sixth Siempelkamp system for Australian Panels. <\/span>Most recently, in August 2023, the customer decided on a Siempelkamp chipboard plant, which will be the largest in Australia with an annual capacity of over 650,000 m\u00b3.\u00a0It is also being built at the Mount Gambier site.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the new, sixth order, the inventory of Siempelkamp equipment at Australian Panels increases to four MDF systems and two systems for the production of chipboard.\u00a0They are part of the equipment at the Oberon and Mount Gambier sites.,\" says Geoff Robson, head of Siempelkamp Pty Ltd. on the overall statistics.<\/p>\n

The new order for the Mont Gambier location includes the forming and press line including ContiRoll\u00a0\u00d2\u00a0in the 8' x 78.6m format, the gluing and the cooling and stacking system.\u00a0The scope of delivery also includes the expertise of three Siempelkamp subsidiaries: Pallmann supplies a drum chipper, CMC Texpan a wood chip screening, B\u00fcttner contributes a drying system.\u00a0The system is designed in heavy size 2, which is characterized by the extremely high running stability of the steel strip.\u00a0It ensures a maximum service life of the components under special conditions, i.e. high forces.\u00a0Light Pinus Radiata will be used as the raw material - a poreless softwood that is particularly suitable as feed material for the production of fiberboard and chipboard.\u00a0The MDF system will be delivered in May 2025 and production is scheduled to start at the beginning of 2026.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
