In Sweden, wood buyers and brokers have alternately raised their purchase prices in recent weeks.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mellanskog, the forest owners' association of central Sweden, was the last to raise its prices . It raised the roadside prices of all material wood types and energy wood types from the beginning of February.<\/p>\n

For pine and spruce logs, the increase is 50 SEK (4.9 euros). In Sweden, logs are priced based on solidity and quality, and price lists are defined by province.<\/p>\n

For example, in the V\u00e4stmanland area of \u200b\u200bMellanskog, the list price of pine logs varies from 590 SEK (57 euros) to 1085 SEK (106 euros) paid to those who grade the pine. The list price of the smallest spruce logs with a top diameter of more than 14 cents is 590 SEK (57 euros) and the price of stout spruce logs suitable for turning is 935 SEK (91 euros).<\/p>\n
