RemaSawco\u00a0and S\u00f6dra have agreed to upgrade S\u00f6dra's four sawmills Kinda, L\u00e5ngasj\u00f6, M\u00f6nster\u00e5s and Orrefors in Sweden. The upgrades differ between the four sawmills but affect both log sorting, saw line and board handling.<\/span><\/p>\n

The log sorting solution is provided, among other things, with the measuring frame RS-LogScanner3D with associated system RS-715. For the saw line, the measuring frame RS-3DLog is delivered together with the optimization system RS-Opt. The various process steps for board handling are equipped with the board sorting system RS-ProSort.<\/p>\n

Delivery, installation and commissioning will take place gradually during 2024.<\/p>\n

RemaSawco AB has also signed an agreement with Walln\u00e4s Timber AB to upgrade the company's sawmill in Mariannelund. The agreement includes systems for upgrading the sawmill's dry sorting to an order value of just over SEK 9 million + options.<\/p>\n

Walln\u00e4s Timber intends to upgrade its dry sorting in Mariannelund with new control and an automatic screening system with strength sorting of boards and planks. The order includes, among other things, RemaSawco's board scanner RS-BoardScannerQ, the application RS-StrengthGrader for strength grading and the optimization system RS-ProSort for sorting control. In addition to this, products and services for machine control, order management, training and commissioning are also included.<\/p>\n
