Canadian wood-based panels producer Tolko is aiming to complete rebuilding of its OSB mill in High Prairie, Alberta by the end of 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n

The facility suffered a serious press fire on May 20, 2022, resulting in significant damage, with much of the equipment a total loss.<\/p>\n

\u201cWork on assembling the new continuous press is progressing well, and the mill is aiming to be up and running by the end of the year,\u201d Chris Downey, Tolko communications advisor told a local news outlet.<\/p>\n

Tolko Industries Ltd has commissioned Dieffenbacher to supply the core components of a CEBRO smart CPS+ continuous OSB plant. Dieffenbacher has supplied the facility\u2019s original twelve-opening press in 1995.<\/p>\n

Dieffenbacher\u2019s scope of supply for the rebuild of Tolko\u2019s High Prairie site also includes the forming station and forming line, plus the raw board handling system.<\/p>\n

Once operational, the plant\u2019s production capacity will reach up to 734,000 m\u00b3 of OSB per year.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
