<\/span>Stora Enso informs us that wood sales will continue in full swing for the rest of the year until the Christmas holidays.\u00a0The company is aiming for increasing purchase volumes from Finland, as the Russian wood is to be replaced specifically with domestic wood.<\/p>\n

The company has used about two million cubic meters of Russian wood per year.\u00a0It cannot be replaced in an instant, and the end of imports has caused a constant need to buy pulpwood.\u00a0This has also been reflected in the prices of softwood.\u00a0Although the summer peak prices for softwood have already come down, the prices are still at a statistically high level, the company emphasizes.<\/p>\n

At the beginning of the winter season, Stora Enso says that it is interested in all kinds of cuttings, including winter thinnings.\u00a0There is hardly any old stock left from last winter, so even the uncertain sites in terms of harvests are of interest.\u00a0In pulpwood, there is also a demand for supply lumber, the company reports.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
