The most notable drop was observed in the 14-18 cm diameter category, with prices declining by approximately 14.49% from 92.62 EUR\/m3 in 2023H1 compared to 108.38 EUR\/m3 in 2022H2.<span id=\"more-33976\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Similarly, spruce sawlogs saw a minor decline in prices during the first half of 2023 compared to the second half of 2022, spanning various diameter ranges. The average reduction in prices amounted to approximately 3.46%, with the price falling from 96.83 EUR\/m3 in 2022H2 to 93.00 EUR\/m3 in 2023H1.<\/p>\n<p>In contrast to the trends seen in pine and spruce, the prices of birch sawlogs demonstrated mixed movements in the first half of 2023. Certain categories experienced price drops, with the 18-24 cm diameter range witnessing a decline of about 11.95% from 109.74 EUR\/m3 in 2022H2 to 96.60 EUR\/m3 in 2023H1. On the other hand, some categories within the birch segment demonstrated noticeable price increases, such as the more than 24 cm diameter category, which saw an increase of approximately 6.03% from 139.87 EUR\/m3 in 2022H2 to 148.22 EUR\/m3 in 2023H1.<\/p>\n<p>The pricing dynamics for black alder and aspen sawlogs in the first half of 2023 showcased diverse patterns.
