The Homag Group has announced that it will suspend its participation in the Holz-Handwerk trade fair in Nuremberg, Germany next year.<\/span><\/p>\n

Instead, the group will present its numerous innovations to customers at numerous local and decentralized events.<\/p>\n

Among the reasons for the decision, general director Dr. Daniel Schmitt cites the trade fair strategy adapted to the most difficult economic times.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlthough it is difficult for us, after an in-depth analysis we have decided to focus mainly on major international trade fairs such as LIGNA in Hannover, Germany, IWF in Atlanta, USA or interzum in Guangzhou, China.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis does not mean, however, that we have canceled our participation in the Nuremberg trade fair forever. In two years we will reassess the situation again.\"<\/p>\n

The current weakening of the economy and the resulting decline in orders requires tighter cost management, Schmitt added.<\/p>\n

Direct contact with all customer groups, from trade to industry, continues to be a top priority for the Homag Group. Homag therefore intends to present its innovations at numerous customer-oriented internal events.<\/p>\n

\"At these decentralized and local events, which will take place in Germany and neighboring countries, we will be able to address our customers in a targeted and individual way and present customized solutions for their specific needs,\" emphasized Schmitt.<\/p>\n

In its numerous showrooms, the Homag Group can also present its target groups with a broader range of solutions including machines, services, and software.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, Homag offers its customers the opportunity to learn about new products and further developments via numerous digital formats without having to travel.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
