The price situation has allowed many manufacturers to reorient themselves to the growing domestic market, which stimulates, among other things, the development of wooden housing construction and the need to restore the housing stock in the border regions and new territories affected during the hostilities. Others are discovering new export destinations that were unprofitable before, because now, with a weak ruble, export earnings in terms of rubles are higher.'<\/p>\n According to the organization, wholesale prices for softwood sawlogs by June 2023 amounted to 3,100-3,300 rubles per m\u00b3 (30.35-32.29 Euros per m\u00b3), which is close to the pre-pandemic level. Prices for sawn softwood were set at 11.2-11.3 thousand rubles per m\u00b3 (110.17-110.82 Euros per m\u00b3), in the retail market - 16.3-17.1 thousand rubles per m\u00b3 (159.75-167.58 Euros per m\u00b3). The export price of sawn softwood is about 16 thousand rubles per m\u00b3 (156.80 Euros per m\u00b3), which is 30% more than the pre-pandemic figure.<\/p>\n 'Today's prices, coupled with a weak ruble, are opening up new export opportunities, allowing Russian producers to enter new markets that were not economically viable before.
