The sale of the HS Timber Productions Sebes SRL site to the German Ziegler Group, announced on 18 April, has been approved by the Romanian authorities. <\/span>With the closing of the transaction, the sale of shares has been successfully completed. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The Ziegler Group will also take over the existing staff in Sebes.<\/p>\n
The sawmill in Sebes was the first production site of the HS Timber Group in Romania. \"We would like to express our gratitude for the outstanding performance of the employees in Sebes over the last 20 years,\" says Gerald Schweighofer, CEO of HS Timber Group. \"We are glad to have found a successful family business that will continue the sawn timber production at the site and expand the business.\"<\/p>\n
HS Timber Group still operates a sawmill and a blockboard plant as well as a post & beams production at other locations in Romania. Other sawmill sites are located in Germany and Finland.<\/p>\n
The location in the centre of Romania is an addition to the Ziegler Group's sawmill division with its existing production facilities in Germany and Sweden. In addition to high-quality raw materials, the sawmill operation, will operate under the name ZG Timber Sebes SRL in the future.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
