In July 2023 the price of wood pellets in Germany rose slightly. <\/span>According to the German Pellet Institute (DEPI), one ton costs an average of \u20ac422.51, which is 3.5% more than in the previous month. At just under 16.8%, the price is well below the previous year's level. The price development, which is atypical for the time of year, goes hand in hand with increased raw material prices due to the restraint in the construction industry. As a result, sawmills are not working at full capacity. A kilowatt hour of heat from pellets is available for 8.45 cents.<\/p>\n
The following regional differences in the price of pellets in July 2023 (sales of 6 t):<\/p>\n
In southern Germany, pellets cost an average of \u20ac420.15\/t, followed by the middle of the republic at \u20ac423.36\/t. In northern and eastern Germany, pellets are slightly more expensive at \u20ac431.10\/t. The fact that the national average value in July is below the value of the regional prices is based on the calculation method.<\/p>\n
Larger quantities (26 t) will be traded in July 2023 at the following conditions: South: 403.67 \u20ac\/t, Central: 407.46 \u20ac\/t, North\/East: 419.76 \u20ac\/t (all incl. VAT) .<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
