<\/span>PGS Group has announced its acquisition of Den Doelder Pallets, a Dutch company.<\/p>\n According to the company, this acquisition aligns with PGS Group's consolidation strategy to strengthen its position in the European market. Effective from June 30, 2023, this acquisition marks PGS Group's expansion into the Netherlands, presenting growth opportunities in the Dutch pallet market. The Netherlands is considered an interesting country due to its focus on sustainability, favorable geographical location, and strong economy.<\/p>\n According to the company, the acquisition of Den Doelder Pallets offers more than just market expansion for PGS Group. Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19 and the Ukrainian crisis, Christian Den Doelder, CEO of Den Doelder Pallets, has continued to invest in sustainable production and chain integration. Two years ago, the company formed a partnership with a Norwegian investor to pursue ambitious goals. These efforts have resulted in a fully circular production model and the recent establishment of a biomass plant. According to PGS Group, Den Doelder Pallets also demonstrates a high level of vertical integration, with a sawmill, three production sites, a sorting and recovery department, and extensive management of customer wood waste streams.<\/p>\n About PGS Group<\/strong><\/p>\n Created in 1993, the \u2018Groupe Palettes Gestion Services\u2019 (PGS) quickly developped from a small company to leader of the french and belgian pallets markets.
