<\/span>Bergs Timber AB acquired all shares in Hedlunda Holding AB.\u00a0Hedlunda is a state-of-the-art manufacturer of wooden furniture and components with production facilities in Sweden (Lycksele) and Poland (Skocz\u00f3w).<\/p>\n
According to a company press release, the acquisition will strengthen Berg's offer in wood processing and also means a broadening of the business towards the furniture sector.\u00a0Together with Berg's existing business in component sales to industrial customers, Hedlunda will form a new product area, Furniture & Components.<\/p>\n
The deal in brief<\/strong><\/p>\n
The purchase price on a cash and debt-free basis amounts to approximately SEK 225 million (approximately 21.825 million EUR), and the purchase price for the shares amounts to SEK 140 million (approximately 13.58 million EUR). An additional purchase price based on earnings development over the next two financial years may be paid to the sellers.<\/p>\n
The purchase price is financed by a new loan facility of SEK 200 million (approximately 19.4 million EUR) under the existing loan agreement with Danske Bank and SEB.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
